What does the "Display Format" option do?
Different people like to see the search results in different ways. The Display Format option lets you pick where book, chapter, and verse references show up.

Verse on Top
This option will put the book name, chapter, and verse above the text of each verse. For example:

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Verse on Side
This option starts each chapter with a chapter header. It also starts each verse with a verse number to the left. If you are viewing a right-to-left language like Hebrew or Arabic, it will also show a verse number on the right. For example:

Genesis 1
1. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2. And the earth was formless and void; ...

No Headers By default, each time the search results start displaying a new book of the Bible, a blue bar with the name of the book will be displayed.

If you don't like this, you can turn off the blue bar by choosing the Verse on Top, No Headers or Verse on Side, No Headers options.
